Federal Government's proposed National Compact

The federal government has recently opened general consultations with the Third Sector – the community, not-for-profit (NFP) sector. The government proposes a National Compact concerning the principles and agreements that should frame and shape government dealings with the sector.

Why would I do such a thing?

As part of the 2009 Ultimo science Festival the Powerhouse Museum hosted two nights of Dark Science - the first Flesh was dedicated to the understanding of the biology of skin and pain. The second, Psyche, was to focus on the translation of the physical and physiological responses of our bodies into sensations and feelings, our emotional responses like fear.
