Museum Studies program closing

The Faculty of Science at Macquarie University has decided to discontinue the museum studies program by phasing it out over the next two years.

New President of Museums Australia (Andrew Sayers AM, Director, National Museum of Australia)

Dr Darryl McIntryre, stepping down as MA President at the MA-AGM last night in Canberra (at the National Gallery), said he was delighted to announce that MA National Council had decided to appoint Andrew Sayers as President of Museums Australia for the forthcoming year - following his own decision to retire early after three years’ leadership of MA - to concentrate more time on his own research projects.
